How to Replace Wiper Blades?

Replace Wiper Blades by following these steps: 1. Lift the wiper arm naturally upwards along the direction of the wiper to separate it from the car body; 2. Tilt the wiper blade backward to make it perpendicular to the wiper arm; 3. Locate the fixing buckle at the connection between the wiper blade and the wiper arm; 4. Pull the tab outward and then push the wiper blade outward to open it; 5. Pull the buckle sideways to release it from the wiper blade connection; 6. Separate the wiper blade from the wiper arm; 7. At the corresponding port, gently insert a flat-head screwdriver about 1cm into the rubber blade, wrap the cover with a cloth, and pull the rubber blade outward; 8. Use the screwdriver to lightly pry open the hook to detach it from the rubber blade; 9. Remove the old rubber blade and replace it with a new one.
I used to enjoy replacing windshield wiper blades myself, and now I'll share the detailed steps with everyone. First, lift the wiper arm upright to prevent it from snapping back and damaging the windshield. Locate the clip covers at both ends of the wiper blade, and gently pry them open with a fingernail or a small screwdriver. When removing the old blade, pinch the middle section and slowly pull it out—never yank it forcefully, or the metal frame inside might bend and become unusable. Measure the length of the old blade to buy a new one, making sure not to get the type meant for frameless wipers. When inserting the new blade, ensure the frame snaps into the groove of the blade; otherwise, the wiper will skip while wiping. After installation, securely fasten the end caps and spray some water on the windshield to test the wiping performance. The whole process takes about 20 minutes and costs less than half the price of replacing the entire wiper assembly.
