Lift the wiper arm upward and place a towel on the windshield at the position corresponding to the middle of the wiper blade. Rotate the wiper blade and the wiper arm to form a 45-degree angle (most can be rotated up to 90 degrees), then locate the small hidden clip at the joint between the wiper blade and the arm. Press and hold the small hidden clip with one hand while using the other hand to pull the entire wiper blade downward toward the base of the arm. Note that some models may not have this clip. Once the hook is exposed during the downward movement of the wiper blade, remove the wiper blade from one side to complete the disassembly.

What is the L Gear in an Automatic Transmission?

The L gear in an automatic transmission is the low gear. When in L gear, the transmission stays in first gear, adjusting the input-to-output rotation ratio to low speed and high torque, thereby providing strong traction. Typically, the L gear is suitable for steep slopes and can also be used in city traffic jams to reduce the jerky feeling caused by frequent gear shifts. Common gears in an automatic transmission include P (Park), N (Neutral), R (Reverse), D (Drive), L (Low, also known as Hill Climb), S (Sport, also known as Sport Mode), and M (Manual).

What are the effects of disconnecting the battery negative terminal?

Disconnecting the battery negative terminal will reset the system time, trip mileage, and driver habit information on the car to factory settings. After restarting the vehicle, you will need to reconfigure these settings according to your personal preferences. Some high-end models may also display fault codes, which can only be cleared by a technician at a 4S store or auto repair shop using specialized diagnostic equipment. If the battery is drained, the car will be difficult or even impossible to start. In such cases, you can use a battery charger or the jump-start method to recharge the battery. Jump-starting involves connecting the positive and negative terminals of the drained battery to another car's battery using jumper cables. During long-term parking, it's recommended to start the vehicle regularly—preferably once a week—and let it idle for a while to allow the alternator to charge the battery.
