Method for replacing the turn signal on a Teana: 1. To replace the turn signal, fully turn the steering wheel to one side to expose the wheel well; 2. There is a screw-fastened cover near the turn signal under the wheel arch—remove the screw to open the cover; 3. After opening the cover, unscrew the lamp holder, replace the bulb, and then reinstall it. The Teana is a flagship mid-to-high-end luxury sedan under NISSAN, with body dimensions of 4868mm in length, 1830mm in width, and 1490mm in height, a wheelbase of 2775mm, and equipped with a VQ35DE engine.
I replaced the turn signal bulb on my old Teana by myself a couple of days ago, not difficult at all. First, identify which side's bulb is burnt out – you can see it standing at the front of the car. Open the hood, locate the black rubber cover behind the turn signal, and twist it counterclockwise to remove. Pull out the bulb together with its base, but be careful not to touch the glass with wet hands! The bulb model is PY21W, available at auto parts stores for about ten yuan each. When installing the new bulb, align it with the slot and push until you hear a 'click' to ensure it's properly seated. After finishing, it's best to have someone help check when testing the light – if it doesn't work, chances are it's inserted the wrong way. Doing it myself saved me 200 yuan compared to the dealership, but remember to wear gloves to prevent scratches.
