How to Replace the Transmission Mount of Audi A6L?
1 Answers
Connect the engine with lifting rings and safety belts, then lift the engine. Remove the bracket of the engine mount, unscrew the engine mount bolts, move the engine mount towards the front of the vehicle, then remove the old engine mount and replace it with a new one. First, remove the intake duct, take out the air filter box, unplug the air sensor electrical connector, remove the battery, and finally replace the transmission mount with a new one. The rubber of the engine mount has been in contact with the lower part, showing friction marks. After removal, they separated, indicating the mount is no longer bearing the load properly.
