How to replace the sunshade fabric of the Magotan B7 sunroof?

First, pull the sunshade to the innermost position, open the sunroof to the tilt position, and pull out the rubber dust covers on both sides. Then, unscrew the internal hex screws on both sides of the sunroof bracket, remove the sunroof glass panel, and finally pull the sunshade out from the roof.
A few days ago, I just replaced the sunshade fabric for my Magotan B7's sunroof, and it felt totally worth it. First, I bought a matching new fabric cover online and prepared a Phillips screwdriver and plastic pry tools. I closed the sunroof to prevent accidental opening, then removed several screws near the headliner and carefully pried open the clips at the edges of the interior trim panel—being extra careful not to use too much force to avoid breakage. After removing the old fabric, I laid out the new cover, smoothed and secured the edges, then reassembled the trim panel and tested for smooth sliding. I also took the chance to clean dust from the sunroof frame to extend its lifespan. This DIY project saved me over 300 yuan in repair costs and boosted my sense of accomplishment. I recommend regularly checking the sunshade fabric to prevent cracks from affecting its shading performance.
