First, remove the air filter and air filter box. Use a screwdriver to detach the pipe connected to the throttle body, then use a Torx bit to take off the air filter cover. The battery cover can be removed by pulling it diagonally upward. Then, use a socket wrench to disconnect the positive terminal. Next, pay attention to the small metal plate on the left side of the battery used for securing it. Be careful not to lose it, as it can be very difficult to find if dropped. Install the new battery, noting that the negative terminal should be on the inside and the positive terminal on the outside. After placing the new battery, first secure the negative terminal with the clip, making sure it is fully pressed down. Do not rush to connect the positive terminal at this point. First, reinstall the protective cover. There are two clips inside the cover that need to be aligned properly during installation.
