How to Replace the Coolant in a Lavida?

Lavida coolant replacement method is as follows: Before completely replacing the coolant, conduct a thorough inspection to check for any signs of leakage or cracks in the pipelines, with a special focus on the five-way water pipe. The five-way pipe is named for its five interfaces connecting various parts, and the coolant is distributed to different sections of the car after flowing through it. If there is any coolant leakage in this section, replace the water pipe or re-secure the interface as needed. Drain the old coolant, then flush the liquid channels with clean water. Add clean water to the coolant reservoir and continue to pour water into the reservoir, allowing it to circulate continuously through the engine cooling system. Then, start the engine and let it idle for 3 to 5 minutes to circulate the water. Initially, the water flowing out from the reservoir will have a faint pink color. Continue adding clean water until clear water flows out. Remember to remove the heater hose and drain the water from the heater core. After draining for about an hour, add the new coolant through the radiator hose to allow it to flow quickly into the radiator. Then, add another bucket of coolant to the reservoir until it is nearly full. Start the engine and let it run for about 10 minutes. During this time, the coolant level will drop slightly as air is expelled from the cooling system. Top up the coolant to the maximum mark "MAXT" on the reservoir.
I've been driving the Lavida for several years, and changing the coolant requires careful attention. The first step is always to wait until the engine has completely cooled down. Don't rush to do it after driving for a few hours, as it can cause burns. Locate the drain plug at the bottom of the radiator, unscrew it to let the old fluid flow out. I usually use a large plastic basin to catch it, avoiding any mess on the ground. After draining the old fluid, you can flush the system with some clean water, but avoid tap water due to its impurities—distilled water is best. After flushing, tighten the plug and slowly pour in the new coolant until it reaches the marked line on the expansion tank. Turn the key to the ON position to let the fan run for a few minutes and remove air bubbles. Finally, start the engine to check for leaks and ensure the fluid level is stable. I check it once a year because aged coolant can cause engine overheating. A timely change ensures the car's durability. The radiator in the Lavida is located toward the front under the hood—easy to find. Remember to wear gloves to avoid skin contact.
