How to Replace the Battery in the Avancier Key?

The method to replace the battery in the Avancier key is: 1. Remove the mechanical key; 2. Use a screwdriver to open the key cover. When prying, wrap the tip of the screwdriver with a cloth to prevent damaging the key; 3. After opening the key cover, the battery will be visible. Remove the old battery and replace it with a new one; 4. When installing the new battery, ensure the positive side faces upwards, then close the key cover. The Avancier is equipped with two types of engines: one is a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine, and the other is a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine. The 1.5-liter turbocharged engine delivers 193 horsepower and a maximum torque of 243 Nm, while the 2.0-liter turbocharged engine produces 272 horsepower and a maximum torque of 370 Nm.
Last time I changed the battery for my Avancier key fob, it was quite a hassle. There's a small groove below the Honda logo on the back of the key - just gently pry it open with a flathead screwdriver. But remember to use a credit card as padding, as the plastic shell scratches easily. It uses a CR2032 coin battery, available at convenience stores or hardware shops. When installing, pay attention to the polarity - the side with the plus sign should face upwards and align with the spring contact. Before snapping the cover shut with a click, test the key to see if the light turns on. A reminder to everyone: don't end up with an extra small spring like I did on my first attempt - that's the anti-misoperation switch component and must be reinstalled exactly as it was.
