There is a rectangular button on the left side of the key. Press it firmly, and the spare key will pop out. Then, remove the spare key. At the top of the key, along the connection between the black plastic and the top cover plate, use your thumb to push the top cover plate firmly until you hear a click, then remove the top cover plate. On the back of the key, you can use a metal or plastic tool to gently pry open the connection at the plastic shell.
