How to Replace the Battery in a Focus Key Fob?

Use a flathead screwdriver to open the panel on the side with the logo. Once you've pried open a small gap, you can slowly open it further. After removing the logo cover of the new Focus key fob, you will see the battery. Take out the prepared battery and insert it.
I've changed the Focus key battery quite a few times, sharing some veteran owner experience. First flip the key over, there's a small groove on the back. Gently pry open the casing using a small coin or plastic pry tool - don't apply too much force to avoid damaging the plastic. Inside you'll find a coin cell battery, typically CR2032 model, just remove it directly. When buying new batteries, get the same model from supermarkets or online, make sure not to get the wrong size. During reinstallation, pay attention to the positive/negative polarity orientation, and snap the cover shut until you hear a click to ensure proper sealing. I recommend checking it every two years to avoid sudden power loss affecting remote functions. Make sure your hands are dry before handling to prevent short circuits.
