How to Replace the Air Filter in a Haval H6?

Prepare a double-headed screwdriver and a pair of pliers, then locate the position of the air filter Loosen the clamp on the intake pipe and unscrew the air filter box Remove the old air filter and install the new one
I owned a Haval H6 for several years and changed the air filter quite a few times myself. The whole process is pretty straightforward. First, you need to let the engine cool down to avoid burning your hands, then pop open the hood. The air filter box in the Haval H6 is located next to the air intake pipe, usually on the driver's side. Once you locate the black box, check the cover—my model was secured with a few plastic clips, which can be gently pried open to remove the lid. Next, carefully take out the old filter and check how dirty it is. If it's covered in dust, it's definitely time for a replacement. Then, insert the new filter, making sure to align the arrow direction correctly—don't get it backward, or the engine might struggle to breathe. Finally, close the box and press the clips firmly into place. Every time I changed it, I felt like the car's fuel consumption improved a bit, and it ran smoother. I recommend checking it every 10,000 kilometers or so.
