How to Replace the Air Conditioning Filter in the Golf VII?

Method for replacing the air conditioning filter: 1. The air conditioning filter in the Golf VII is located behind the glove box, which differs from the position in the Golf VI. The glove box needs to be removed. 2. Open the glove box, and at the junction where the two curved sides meet the top horizontal part, there are two buttons. Press them upwards and inwards until they reach the bottom, then gently pull the box outward to detach it. 3. After the box is detached, you can see the filter's cover plate, which has six hooks—three on the top edge and three on the bottom edge. Only the top edge needs to be opened. Insert a flat-head screwdriver and gently press down to release the hooks. Once the top edge is released, lift it upwards to remove the cover plate. 4. After replacing the filter, cover it with the filter plate and secure it in place. 5. Reinstall the glove box. During reassembly, first insert the damping guide rail into the damper, then press the buttons to reattach the left and right clips of the box. Below are some tips for replacing the filter: (1) If the airflow from the air conditioner significantly decreases, the air conditioning filter may be clogged. First, clean the filter or replace it if necessary. (2) The frequency of cleaning depends on road conditions, and it is recommended to clean it earlier rather than later. (3) The air conditioning filter should be correctly installed in its position. Using the air conditioner without the filter may degrade dustproof performance and affect air conditioning performance.
