How to Replace Coolant for Nissan Sylphy?
1 Answers
Nissan Sylphy coolant replacement steps are: 1. Open the radiator cap, remove the engine undercover, open the radiator drain plug at the bottom of the radiator, then remove the radiator cap. Before unscrewing the radiator cap, turn it slowly to release accumulated pressure, then fully unscrew it; 2. Drain the old coolant, locate and open the coolant drain screw (usually located at the rear side of the engine), and use an air gun to blow out excess coolant; 3. Refill with new coolant. After tightening the drain screw, add new coolant through the filler port, generally not exceeding the MAX mark; 4. Install the radiator cap: Start the engine and warm it up for about 10 minutes at 3000 rpm idle. If the fan starts running, it indicates the coolant has reached normal temperature. Then tighten the filler cap and install the radiator cap.
