How to Replace an Engine?

Replacing an engine should be done at a professional 4S shop, as doing it yourself carries significant risks. For registered motor vehicles that have undergone engine replacement, the owner must apply for a modification registration with the local vehicle management office within ten days after the change.
I just replaced the engine in my old ride the other day, what a hassle! You gotta have all the tools ready: wrenches, engine hoist, jack stands - the basic kit. First disconnect the battery, drain all the engine oil and coolant, then remove the intake and exhaust systems. Remember to label every wire and hose position - it'll save you half the trouble. The engine mounting bolts are especially stubborn, better have two people working together. When installing the new engine, connecting the oil and coolant lines is absolutely critical - I almost missed the transmission fluid line. Final test revealed the belt tensioner wasn't adjusted properly, had to redo it. Honestly, unless you're experienced, better leave it to professional shops - I nearly threw my back out after three days of DIY.
