First, insert the glue stick into the glue gun and heat it for a few minutes. Then, slowly apply the glue from left to right onto the suction cup. Use the residual heat to gently attach the suction cup to the stress point of the larger dent. Then, connect the "T"-shaped tool to the head of the suction cup and evenly pull the suction cup out. Repeat the previous steps until the noticeable small dents are mostly pulled out. Use a hook to slowly "push" out the smaller dented areas. Finally, use a rubber hammer to smooth out any slightly protruding parts.

Seeing small dents on the car door is indeed frustrating. I’ve personally used a suction cup tool to repair them twice. First, thoroughly clean the dent surface to ensure there are no sand particles, then apply lubricant around the dent. Next, firmly press the specialized dent puller onto the center of the depression and slowly rotate the handle to apply pulling force. Be patient and repeat the process five or six times, pulling for 10 seconds each time before releasing to observe. This method is suitable for shallow dents the size of a coin; deeper dents may not respond well. Don’t apply too much force during the operation, as it could damage the paint. The entire process takes about half an hour, and you can buy a set of tools online for just a few dozen yuan. After the repair, remember to treat the marks with polishing wax to restore the paint to its original condition.

The hot glue method for repairing small dents has proven quite effective in my experience. You'll need a hot glue gun, a specialized dent puller, and adhesive remover. First, heat the glue stick and extrude a coin-sized glue dot at the center of the dent. While the glue is still hot, quickly press the puller's base onto it. Wait three minutes for complete hardening, then pull outward evenly using the T-handle until you hear a slight popping sound indicating success. Finally, remove residual glue with adhesive remover and apply car wax. This method works particularly well for small dents on plastic bumpers, but be cautious - glue temperature shouldn't exceed 80°C to avoid paint damage, and pulling force must be controlled.

The online-purchased door dent repair kit is quite convenient to use. The kit includes bridge-type pullers in various sizes and special adhesive, so selecting the right model is crucial. After cleaning the car body, attach the provided adhesive stick to the tool base, press it firmly onto the center of the dent for 30 seconds. Once the glue has fully bonded, slowly pull up with the screw until the dent pops out, then stop immediately. After finishing, wipe off any adhesive residue with alcohol and give it a final polish. I successfully repaired small dents on the hood, but the tool might not work well on folded edges. Pay attention to the ambient temperature during the process, as extreme cold or heat can affect the adhesive's effectiveness.

The traditional tapping method can also be used to flatten small dents, but extra caution is required. Remove the interior trim panel from the inside of the door to locate the corresponding position of the dent. Apply tape on the outer side of the metal panel to protect the paint, and use a rubber pad with a wooden mallet to gently tap from the inside. Start from the outer edge of the dent and gradually work towards the center with light, even taps, applying force as evenly as playing the piano. Observe the changes after each tap to avoid excessive force causing secondary dents. This method is suitable for areas with straight body lines but requires some skill and experience. Always wear protective gloves during the operation and maintain a safe distance between the tapping point and the car paint.
