How to Repair Oil Leakage in Motorcycle Shock Absorbers?
1 Answers
If the rear shock absorber of a motorcycle is leaking oil, it can only be replaced with a new one as it cannot be repaired. For front shock absorber oil leakage, it is mostly caused by a leaking oil seal, and replacing the oil seal will suffice. If the oil leakage is due to loose screws at the top or bottom of the shock absorber, tightening the screws and replacing the sealing ring as necessary should resolve the issue. In cases where the inner or outer tube of the shock absorber is damaged, the entire shock absorber assembly must be replaced.
