How to Repair a Water-Damaged Engine?
1 Answers
Replace the damaged connecting rods, pistons, and cylinder liners in the combustion chamber. Disassemble the exhaust manifold to allow water in the exhaust pipe to drain out. Tow the vehicle to a repair shop, completely disassemble the engine, inspect the engine connecting rods, pistons, and cylinder liners, and replace any damaged components. Disassemble the engine intake pipe, intake manifold, and spark plugs to remove accumulated water inside the engine. Use compressed air to dry out any water in the cylinder combustion chambers.
