How to Repair a Hole in the Fender Liner?
1 Answers
Owners cannot repair a hole in the fender liner by themselves; it can only be replaced. The replacement process for the fender liner is as follows: 1. Use a jack to align with the support points under the car, then lift the chassis and remove the tire; 2. Remove the screws and clips securing the fender liner and take out the damaged liner; 3. Install the new fender liner by following the reverse process of removal. The fender, also known as the wing panel, is the outer cover of the wheel, designed to ensure the maximum space for the front wheel's rotation and movement. When the fender liner is cracked, it is recommended to replace it. Otherwise, while driving, it will not only produce noticeable noise but also affect the car's aerodynamic resistance. Additionally, due to the cracked liner, gravel and mud can easily splash onto the bottom of the cabin, which fails to adequately protect the car's chassis.
