How to Repair a Broken Headlight Adjuster?
2 Answers
Remove the headlight directly without opening the lamp cover. Pry open the base of the near-sight lamp you wish to replace. Adjust the base of the screw bottom. Alternatively, you can directly adjust the long screw of the near-light to adjust the near-light while the headlight is removed.
When my headlight adjuster broke, I fixed it myself. First, I bought a new adjuster module online, which wasn't expensive—about a hundred or two hundred yuan. Then, following the instructions, I unplugged the old module's connector, making sure to disconnect the power to avoid damaging other circuits. When installing the new module, I aligned and firmly inserted the connector, then started the car to test if the headlight adjustment function was restored. If it still didn't work, I checked the fuse or whether the headlight control wire was loose. The whole process took half an hour, saving me repair costs. I usually enjoy tinkering with my car, and small issues like this I can handle myself—the key is not to force anything and ensure safety first. Remember to wear gloves to avoid electric shocks or skin scratches.
