How to Repair a Broken Car Windshield Washer Hose?
1 Answers
Find a heat shrink tube of appropriate thickness, use a lighter to shrink it, applying two layers for extra security, with the inner layer being slightly shorter. Clean the hose thoroughly, apply a small amount of glass adhesive, then wrap it with black tape. After a day, when the glass adhesive inside dries, it will be completely sealed. Evenly wrap several layers of PTFE tape, about 10 centimeters in length, then uniformly cover the outside with cloth tape. Finally, split and tie the tape tightly. Car owners with intact windshield washer hoses can preemptively wrap some cloth tape around them to prevent sun-induced aging and breakage.
