How to Remove the Verna Universal Joint?

Verna universal joint removal and installation steps are as follows: 1. Remove the half-shaft lock nut. 2. Lift the vehicle on a hoist and raise it to an appropriate height. 3. Loosen the six fixing bolts of the inner CV joint. 4. Remove the control arm ball joint from the steering knuckle, then detach the half-shaft from the outer CV joint side, taking care not to damage the half-shaft dust boot during removal. 5. Disassemble the half-shaft and CV joint: Loosen the clamps on both sides of the CV joint dust boot, remove the dust boot and inspect it for damage or aging. Remove the snap ring: If the snap ring is installed on the outer side of the CV joint, use external snap ring pliers to expand and remove the outer CV joint. If the snap ring is installed on the inner side, use a hammer to strike the outer race of the CV joint to separate it from the half-shaft. 6. Disassemble the CV joint: Use a copper hammer to strike the inner race of the CV joint to make the CV joint and inner race perpendicular to the outer race, then remove the inner race, CV joint, and steel balls. 7. Reassemble in reverse order of disassembly to complete the replacement.
