After opening the trunk, first remove the inner lining fabric on one side of the taillight. Pry open these clips and pull the lining fabric aside by hand. Take out a small ratchet wrench and remove the nuts one by one, keeping them safe. Unplug the wiring harness connector by hand. After unplugging the wiring harness connector, hold both sides of the taillight with your hands and gently pull outward to remove it.

Odd numbers correspond to odd-numbered dates, while even numbers correspond to even-numbered dates. License plates, commonly referred to as vehicle plates, are panels mounted on the front and rear of vehicles. They are typically made of aluminum, sheet metal, plastic, or paper, displaying the vehicle's registration number, registration region, and other relevant information. What is the purpose of the Pajero rear differential lock?

The purpose of the Pajero rear differential lock is to enhance the vehicle's off-road capability on poor road surfaces. When one driving axle spins freely, it can quickly lock the differential, turning the two driving axles into a rigid connection. This allows most or even all of the torque to be transmitted to the non-slipping axle, fully utilizing its traction to generate sufficient driving force and enabling the vehicle to continue moving. The Pajero is a mid-to-large SUV under Mitsubishi, with dimensions of 4900mm in length, 1875mm in width, and 1900mm in height. In terms of power, this vehicle is equipped with a 3.0-liter V6 naturally aspirated engine, paired with a 5-speed automatic transmission.

Why can the trunk still be opened when the car is locked?

The trunk may still be opened when the car is locked because the trunk's electronic system has not yet received the command from the remote key. In this case, the car owner needs to re-match the remote control and then check the trunk's motor to see if it is still functioning. The car trunk serves as the car's storage space, where items such as the spare tire, warning signs for breakdowns, and the car's fire extinguisher are kept. Inside the car trunk, there is a mat that protects the trunk from dirt or liquids entering or eroding the trunk's surface. Additionally, it increases friction to prevent items in the trunk from sliding during vehicle movement.
