How to Remove the Steering Gear of the Cavalier?
1 Answers
The steps to remove the steering gear of the Cavalier are as follows: 1. First, remove the outer part of the steering wheel. If there are no screws at the back, gently apply force to detach the cover. At this point, loosen the central screw by 3~4 turns (remove the key and turn the steering wheel to lock it in place), remove necessary components, and prepare the tools. 2. Take out the removal tool and remove the nut. Note that you should not immediately take out the steering wheel at this stage. Be sure to make alignment marks first to avoid misalignment during reinstallation, which could cause the steering wheel to be off-center. Reinstallation should follow the reverse order.
