How to remove the seat when the electric seat motor is broken?

On both sides of the seat headrest, near the window area, there are handles. Pulling these handles allows the backrest of the front seats to tilt forward, and the seat cushion can then be removed. Under the headrests on both sides of the front seats, there is a switch. Press it and push the seat forward. Lift the seat upward and hook it onto the front seat headrest. The strap can be adjusted for tightness.
I remember one time when I was fixing the power seat myself and the motor failed. Removing the seat is actually quite simple. First, turn off the ignition switch and disconnect the negative battery terminal—safety first. The seat is secured to the floor rails with bolts at all four corners, usually 10mm or 13mm, so grab a socket wrench and loosen them one by one. Don’t forget to unplug the electrical connector under the seat, and be careful not to tug on the wiring harness to avoid damage. Once the bolts are removed, have two people lift the seat together—don’t try to do it alone to prevent scratching the door or interior. After removal, clean the rail dust to make reinstallation or motor replacement smoother. By the way, if the motor keeps failing, check if the car’s electrical voltage is stable—otherwise, parts can burn out easily. The whole process takes about 20 minutes, but patience is key—don’t rush.
