How to Remove the Seat Cushion of a Shandeka Seat?

There is a safety pin on the backrest base. Press the safety pin and remove the backrest. Move the seat backward, being careful not to lift it forcefully. When lifting the seat, do it slowly to avoid breaking the plastic fasteners securing the seat. Gently lift one corner of the seat and thread the fixing wire of the wool cushion underneath the seat to secure it. You will also need to remove the tightening screws located under the rear backrest.
Last time I disassembled the Sinotruk seat cushion by myself, and it was quite interesting. First, prepare a simple toolkit, such as a screwdriver or pry bar. The seat cushion is usually fixed to the bottom of the seat frame—check for hidden screw holes at the front and lower parts, mostly in the four corners, where small screws need to be loosened. Operate gently to avoid scratching the leather or plastic parts. The cushion might have a clip design, so pry it open slowly without using excessive force to prevent damaging the clips. After removal, you can deep-clean stains or inspect the condition of the internal foam, replacing it if it's worn out. Take your time during the process and ensure the engine is off. After reassembly, test if the cushion is securely installed and doesn’t feel loose while driving. I recommend spending some time studying the seat structure the first time to avoid unexpected issues—this saves on repair costs and helps you pick up some handy skills.
