Yuexiang V7 rear bumper removal method is as follows: 1. First and foremost, prepare all the tools required for the entire bumper removal process before starting the operation. 2. Removal of the rear taillight. Open the trunk lid and carefully observe the rear taillight. You will notice two small black covers on the edge of the taillight. First, remove these two small black covers. Use a flathead screwdriver to pry them off. Be extremely cautious during this process to avoid scratching the surface. Keep the removed small black covers safe. 3. After prying off the small black covers, store the removed screws properly for later reinstallation. 4. Hold the rear taillight with your hand and pull it outward to separate it from the car body's light socket. Then locate the wiring harness of the rear taillight and unplug the connector by hand. There are two small movable clips on both sides of the connector. Press them with your hand and pull outward to disconnect.
To remove the V7 rear bumper, first prepare T20 and T30 Torx screwdrivers, and a 10mm socket. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. There are fabric liners on both sides of the trunk—peel them back to reveal two 10mm screws. There are also clips in the rear wheel arches; use the screwdriver to pry off the plastic covers, which hide more screws. Feel along the gap beneath the taillights for two hidden screws. After removing them, press down on the lower part of the bumper and gently pull backward—don’t panic if you hear a clicking sound, that’s just the clips releasing. Key point! Halfway through, disconnect the wiring harness plugs for the reverse radar and license plate light. The red and black plug is the trickiest—be careful when prying open the clip with your fingernail. Last time I reinstalled it, the license plate light had poor contact because this step wasn’t done properly. The whole process takes about 30 minutes, but it’s best to have two people for the first attempt, as the bumper’s plastic edges can easily catch on the wheel arch.
