Prepare the necessary tools and remove the door assembly. Raise the window glass. Unscrew the window regulator mounting bolts, then remove the glass. Generally, the wiring connectors are located on the inner side of the door. Disconnect the wiring to remove the window regulator.
I have experience with removing the window regulator in a Magotan. I usually enjoy tinkering with cars. Let's start with the tools you'll need: a set of wrenches, screwdrivers, a pry bar, and preferably some electrical tape. First, turn off the vehicle's power and engage the handbrake—safety comes first. Here are the steps: Step 1, remove the door panel—use the pry bar to gently pop open the plastic clips along the edges of the door panel, remove the mounting screws, and then carefully lift the panel off, being cautious not to damage the wiring harness. Step 2, disconnect the wiring—unplug the connector from the window regulator to avoid short circuits. Step 3, secure the window—manually or with tools, raise the window to a suitable position and tape it to the car body to prevent it from falling. Step 4, remove the regulator—locate the screws on the regulator bracket, loosen them with a wrench, and the regulator can then be taken out. Be careful not to cut yourself on the glass—wearing gloves is safer. If the regulator gets stuck, don't force it; check if the track is rusty and spray some lubricant. After removal, it's a good idea to clean the track and inspect the cable for wear. This ensures smoother installation of new parts or repairs. Reassembly is just the reverse process.
