How to Remove the Glove Box of a Dongfeng Fengshen S50?

First, open the car door from the outside and enter the vehicle interior to locate the glove box positioned below the front passenger seat. Unlock the switch in front of the glove box below the front passenger seat to open it and view the interior. After opening the glove box, extend its opening to the maximum position, then reach inside the outer lining to locate the glove box's fasteners. Pull the glove box out from the fastener position below, paying attention to the force and direction to avoid potential damage.
I've taken apart the glove box of my own Jingyi S50 several times, and it's quite simple. You need to sit in the passenger seat first, open the glove box door, and look carefully inside. Usually, there are plastic clips along the top edge or in the corners on both sides—probably a few small flat pieces. Gently pry them loose with your fingers or a flat-head screwdriver. Don’t use too much force, as the plastic can crack easily. If there are screws inside, they’re mostly small cross-head screws—just unscrew them with a Phillips screwdriver. The whole process takes about three to five minutes, and once it’s off, it’s easy to clean out dust or fix things. Last time, I casually cleaned the fan dust. When putting it back, align the clips and give it a light push—it’ll click into place securely. Just make sure not to do this in dim lighting, or you might lose small parts. Taking a photo beforehand to remember the positions can save you some hassle.
