To remove the pump cover, first unscrew the connecting nuts between the pump cover and the pump body, then gently tap the pump cover with a pure copper rod using a hand hammer to detach it. For the impeller removal, unscrew the impeller nut and lightly strike around the impeller with a wooden or lead hammer to detach it, especially if the impeller is rusted onto the shaft. To disassemble the pump body, first remove the connecting nuts between the pump body and the bracket, then take off the pump body. Next, remove the gland and extract the packing inside the stuffing box. For the pump shaft removal, first detach the front and rear bearing glands on the bracket bearing housing, then strike the shaft from the front to the rear (toward the coupling direction) using a pure copper rod.
