Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the four screws on the front bumper. Use a 5mm hex wrench to remove the two screws on the side of the front bumper. Remove the three screws at the bottom right of the front bumper cover. Use a Phillips screwdriver and a 7mm socket to remove the three screws on the fender. Pull back the splash shield. Remove the screws at the bottom of the front bumper, then remove the screws connecting the fender and the bumper. Next, remove the four bolts behind the headlight. Disconnect the headlight assembly plug and remove the headlight assembly. Remove the screws connecting the splash shield to the fender, and the fender can then be removed.
I just removed the fender myself to replace the headlight cover on my old car. You'll need to prepare the tools first: a Phillips screwdriver, a Torx wrench or socket wrench, and preferably gloves to protect your hands. Park the car on level ground and engage the handbrake to ensure stability and safety; don't forget to disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent short circuits. Start near the wheel and look for the screws securing the fender—usually located under the fender or in the wheel well liner. Slowly loosen all the screws, avoiding forceful pulling to prevent scratching the paint; some wheels may obstruct access, so I temporarily removed the wheel. Carefully disconnect any attached wiring or sensors, gently unplugging the connectors. The fender itself is quite heavy, so slowly pull it off and set it aside, then clean and inspect for any rust or damage. The whole process took about half an hour, and installing the new headlight cover afterward was straightforward. Consulting the vehicle manual before disassembly is also helpful—if you encounter difficulties, don't force it and seek a professional shop directly.
