How to Remove the Door Trim Panel?

Here are the steps to remove the door trim panel: 1. Open the door that needs to be disassembled and remove the inner handle decorative cover; 2. Insert a small flathead screwdriver into the gap between the decorative cover and the inner handle, gently pry and release the internal clips; 3. Use a T-30 spline tool to remove the screws securing the door trim panel at the inner handle area. Below are the methods for disassembling the components that secure the door trim panel: 1. Removing the screws at the bottom of the door trim panel: There are two plastic-patterned screws at the bottom that secure the door trim panel (these do not need to be fully removed). Use a T-30 spline tool to turn them 90 degrees clockwise. 2. Removing the clips securing the door trim panel: Take a large flathead screwdriver and use it to pry from the edge gap between the door panel and the door trim panel. Gradually release each clip to separate the trim panel from the door panel. Be careful to pry slowly to avoid damaging the clips or scratching the door panel. After all clips are released, hold the left side of the door trim panel with your left hand and the right side with your right hand, then gently pull outward with controlled force until the trim panel separates from the door panel. Similarly, hold both sides of the trim panel and lift it upward. Once completely separated, manually unplug the wiring harness connectors inside.
