Take out the prepared pry tool, then insert it into the gap above the dashboard to loosen the cover plate, and remove the cover plate above the dashboard. Continue using the pry tool to open the air vents on the dashboard. Once the air vents are removed, the central control panel can be taken off.

I once disassembled the center console of the new Lingpai by myself and found it quite addictive, but caution is necessary. Preparation is crucial—make sure to have a flathead screwdriver, pry tools, and plastic cards ready to avoid scratching the interior panels. First, turn off the power, then gently pry open the cover below the dashboard to reveal the mounting screws, and remove them with the screwdriver. Next, carefully pry open the center console assembly along the edges, paying attention to hidden clips. The design of the new Lingpai is very compact, so avoid pulling too hard to prevent damaging the wiring. After disassembly, check all electrical connectors, such as audio plugs, to ensure they can be accurately repositioned during reassembly. The whole process takes about half an hour, and once completed, it becomes much easier to modify or install additional devices—but safety always comes first.

When removing the center console, I believe the key is systematic operation. Start from the bottom up, first loosen the screws with tools, then gently pry at the clip positions. The structure of the new Lingpai may involve circuit wiring, so the battery must be disconnected to prevent short-circuit risks. Maintain the order of components during disassembly to make reassembly much easier. Remember to wear anti-static gloves to avoid damaging sensitive components, and tools like torque wrenches are better for controlling the force.

As a car owner, I advise against dismantling the new Lingpai's center console yourself, as it integrates too many electronic functions. If damaged, the fault light will turn on. It's best to leave it to professional 4S shops, as they know how to avoid damage. If it's a simple issue like a loose clip causing noise, still don't take the risk.
