How to Remove the Central Armrest in a Sagitar?

Open the armrest and remove the internal screws. Pull the handbrake to its maximum position, then pry open the plastic cover beneath the handbrake. Use the gap as a starting point. After lifting the cover, disconnect the clip connectors and remove the cigarette lighter cover. There will be two fixing screws on the surface of the cigarette lighter cover. Then, you can remove the armrest fixing clips. Place the gear lever in the N position and lift it upwards to separate it from the gear core. Use a plastic pry tool to remove the gear lever cover. Remove the self-tapping screws of the armrest; these two screws are located beneath the gear lever cover. Support the rear part and lift it upwards to take out the armrest.
I've taken apart the center armrest of my Sagitar a few times myself, and I think the key is to have some patience. Before starting, open the armrest lid and check if there are any screw holes at the bottom—usually two or three screws can be removed with a T20 screwdriver. After unscrewing, the armrest might still be held by clips, so gently pry it open from the edges using a plastic trim tool. Avoid metal tools to prevent scratching the interior. Once the clips are released, the entire armrest can be lifted out—the process is pretty straightforward. After removal, you might notice dust accumulation inside, so it's a good opportunity to clean or add small dividers for better organization. Remember to park the car and turn off the engine before working—safety first. If you're nervous about doing it for the first time, having a friend assist or watching a video tutorial can make it easier, since original parts aren't easy to replace if damaged.
