Open the front hood, after removal, you will see a thin water pipe joint clamped at the water inlet. Use a flathead screwdriver to pry off this black retaining ring. Pull the spray pipe out of the small hole bit by bit, remove the small black height adjustment pad on the front hood, pinch it with your hand, and unscrew it counterclockwise to remove it. Take out the small ratchet, extension bar, and use a T-30 spline head to remove the front hood lock, then place it together with the screws. Gently pry open a gap with a flathead screwdriver, then hold the hydraulic tappet with your hand and pull it outward to remove it. Use an extension bar with a 10mm socket to remove the screws securing the front hood. You will need someone to assist in holding the front hood.
Removing the Hongqi H5 hubcap is actually quite simple. I did it last time while washing my car. First, squat down and check if there are small notches on the edge of the hubcap - most designs include finger grips for easy prying. You can simply pull it outward by gripping the gap with your hands, starting from the 12 o'clock position for best leverage. If it's stuck too tightly, use a wide-head plastic pry bar to gently insert into the gap and turn halfway, being careful not to scratch the wheel rim. After removal, the inner ring of clips might have accumulated dust - clean it with a toothbrush for easier reinstallation. When reinstalling, align the hubcap with the wheel holes and press firmly with your palm until you hear a click to ensure it's secure. Remember to remove and install the four hubcaps in diagonal order for easier handling.
