Open the armrest and remove the internal screws using a screwdriver. Keep the removed screws and clips safe to avoid losing them. Pull the handbrake to its highest position and pry open the plastic cover on one side of the handbrake. The cover is not secured with screws. You can use the gaps as leverage points. Once the cover is lifted, disconnect the three clip connectors and remove the cigarette lighter cover. Shift the gear lever to N (Neutral) and lift it upwards to separate it from the gear core. Then, use a plastic pry tool to remove the gear lever cover. Remove the self-tapping screws of the armrest, which are located under the gear lever cover. Lift the rear part upwards to detach the armrest.

How to Confirm Vehicle Distance Using Rearview Mirrors?

Methods for confirming vehicle distance using rearview mirrors: The rearview mirror can be divided into four parts, with the outer quarter being the danger zone and the inner three-quarters being the safety zone. It's important to note that due to differences in individual height, rearview mirror angles, and the size of the following vehicle, the imaging in the rearview mirror may vary, meaning this rule of thumb may not apply to everyone. A better approach is to conduct tests in daily driving to develop an accurate method for judging vehicle distance. Rearview mirrors are tools that allow drivers to directly obtain external information about the rear, sides, and lower parts of the vehicle while seated in the driver's seat. For the convenience of the driver's operation, to prevent traffic safety accidents, and to ensure personal safety, all countries require that vehicles must be equipped with rearview mirrors, and all rearview mirrors must be adjustable in direction.

How to Check the Production Date of a Car Engine?

Methods to check the production date of a car engine: 1. Check the nameplate in the engine compartment. Inside the engine compartment, there is a car nameplate that indicates the car's serial number, engine displacement, model, brand, and importantly, the specific production date. 2. Look for the small nameplate around the door seams. 3. Check the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) under the windshield. Generally, the VIN is located under the front windshield, and the 10th digit of the VIN represents the production date of the car. 4. Refer to the car's manual. The car engine is the machine that provides power to the car, acting as the heart of the vehicle, influencing its performance, fuel efficiency, and environmental friendliness. Depending on the power source, car engines can be categorized into diesel engines, gasoline engines, electric motors for electric vehicles, and hybrid systems, among others.

Is it necessary to clean the fuel injectors?

It is necessary to clean the fuel injectors. If they are not cleaned for a long time, it may lead to phenomena such as accelerated engine wear, unstable idling, increased fuel consumption, weak acceleration, and difficulty in starting. The interval for cleaning the fuel injectors should be determined based on the owner's daily driving environment and fuel quality. Generally, the fuel system should be cleaned every 30,000 to 40,000 kilometers. The fuel injector itself is a normally closed valve. When the electromagnetic coil is energized, it generates suction, lifting the needle valve to open the injection hole. Fuel is sprayed out at high speed through the annular gap between the needle valve head and the injection hole, forming a mist, which is conducive to full combustion.

How to Distinguish Between Full Synthetic and Semi-Synthetic Engine Oil?

Differences between full synthetic and semi-synthetic engine oil: 1. Different base oils: Full synthetic oil is a blend of Group III, IV, and V base oils; semi-synthetic oil uses Group III base oil. 2. Different replacement intervals: Full synthetic oil should be replaced once a year or every 10,000 kilometers during use; semi-synthetic oil should be replaced every six months or every 7,500 kilometers. 3. Different temperature suitability: Full synthetic oil has a wider operating temperature range; semi-synthetic oil has relatively higher usage requirements. Mineral oil typically has a darker color, while synthetic oil is lighter, appearing as a transparent light yellow. Products labeled "Full Synthetic" are fully synthetic oils—identification should not rely solely on viscosity grades. Generally, oil bottles will clearly indicate whether the product is full synthetic, semi-synthetic, or mineral oil.

What Causes Excessive Carbon Monoxide in Car Exhaust?

The reasons why the headlights of a Lavida do not work are: 1. The battery is severely depleted; 2. The wires overheat, increasing the circuit resistance and reducing the headlight intensity. In severe cases, the headlight circuit may short-circuit due to the insulation layer melting, potentially leading to burnt wires or even a car fire; 3. The contacts in the circuit, such as those in the light relay or combination switch, become corroded or stuck, preventing the circuit from opening or closing; 4. The fuse in the headlight circuit blows, plunging the front of the car into darkness; 5. When too many electrical devices are used or the generator is overloaded for an extended period, the generator's diodes and coils may burn out, causing the generator to stop producing electricity.
