How to Remove the Bumper?

First, open the hood. Then, use a 10cm wrench to remove the screws and clips at the edges of the bumper near the left and right front wheels. Next, remove the clips at the bottom. Some bumpers may also have screws, which should be removed using the appropriate tools. Finally, gently pull the bumper outward from the sides to remove it.
I've replaced my fog lights before, and removing the bumper does require some skill. Prepare basic tools like a socket wrench and plastic pry bars, and find a well-lit area. Start by removing the small plastic panels near the front wheel arches, which are usually secured with Phillips screws. You'll also need to remove screws in the engine bay and under the bumper. For German cars, there might be hidden screws behind the emblem. The key is the clips around the wheel arches—use a pry bar to press the small dot in the center of each clip, and avoid forcing them to prevent breakage. Once everything is loosened, gently pull the bumper outward. Inside, there are wiring harnesses for the fog lights and radar, so remember to disconnect the plugs first. It's best to have two people for this process: one to support the bumper while the other handles the wiring to avoid damaging the lines.
