How to Remove the Bumper?

Need to turn the vehicle's wheels fully to the right, turn off the engine, disconnect the negative terminal of the battery, remove the fixing screws, and also remove the splash shield, front bumper cover, and energy absorber. The protective effect is reflected in the following two points: 1. Use corner indicator posts to determine the position of the bumper: The upright markers at the corners of the bumper are indicator posts. These corner indicator posts can accurately confirm the position of the bumper corners, prevent damage to the bumper, and improve driving skills. People who frequently scratch the bumper should try installing one. With these corner indicator posts, the position of the bumper can be accurately judged from the driver's seat; 2. Installing corner rubber can reduce bumper damage: The edges of the bumper are the most vulnerable parts of the car body. This method can reduce the extent of bumper damage. Corner rubber is a thick rubber pad attached to the corners of the bumper. If you want it to blend seamlessly with the car body, you can spray it with paint.
I've removed bumpers quite a few times, and it's all about taking it step by step. First, gather your tools—screwdrivers, wrenches, and so on—so you don't have to make extra trips. Then, move to the front of the car, crouch down, and check for screws around the wheel arches; loosen them with a wrench. There are also a few clips or bolts underneath the chassis—don’t miss those. If there are fog lights or sensor wires, remember to unplug the connectors, pulling gently to avoid damage. The key is not to rush. Slowly pull the bumper outward—it might be stuck in the fender, so give it a slight shake. I’m always careful not to scratch the paint, so I wear gloves or lay down a cloth to protect the body. After removal, check inside for rust or hidden issues, and take the chance to clean off dust. The whole process takes about 20 minutes if everything goes smoothly. For beginners, I recommend taking photos of the screw positions to make reassembly easier.
