After parking the car, engage the handbrake. Open the hood and locate the battery, which is generally positioned on the driver's side within the engine compartment. On the outer casing, there are clear positive and negative terminal markings, usually color-coded with the red terminal as the 【+】 positive and the black terminal as the 【-】 negative. Use a wrench to loosen the terminal nuts, starting with the 【-】 negative terminal. Avoid contact with metal during the removal process. Following the previous step, carefully remove the 【+】 positive terminal. After removing both terminals, there is usually a frame securing the battery in place.
