How to Remove the Airbag of Chery Fengyun 2?

Locate the airbag position on the steering wheel, and use a screwdriver to pry open the retaining clip that secures the airbag. While prying the clip, lift the airbag cover upwards to detach the airbag from the fixed clip. Pry open the airbag connector, and the airbag can then be removed.
I've developed a safety procedure for removing the airbag from a Chery Fengyun 2 steering wheel. First, disconnect the negative terminal of the battery and wait 15 minutes to ensure complete power loss in the airbag system. Prepare a T30 Torx screwdriver and a small pry bar, and adjust the seat to its rearmost position for easier access. Keep the steering wheel straight, then gently open the side covers on both sides using a plastic pry tool to expose the screw holes. Remember to keep your hands dry and avoid touching the clock spring inside the steering wheel when removing screws. When extracting the airbag, support its bottom with both hands—disconnect the yellow connector first, then the blue one, pressing the clips with your fingernails while pulling them out slowly. Perform all movements gently during the process. Place the removed airbag face-up on a soft surface, ensuring it's never stacked or pressed.
