First, pull off the door seal on that side, then hook your fingers around the corner of the A-pillar trim panel. Release the topmost clip of the A-pillar trim panel. Hold the detached part and use a plastic pry tool to release the second middle fixing clip. At this point, all fixing clips of the A-pillar trim panel have been loosened. The first fixing clip is special—its black part remains on the vehicle body panel. You'll need two flathead screwdrivers to assist in its removal. Apply force with two screwdrivers to squeeze the black clip portion inward, and the clip will detach from the vehicle body. Now you can remove the A-pillar trim panel.
