How to Remove Stickers from a Car?

Stickers on a car can be removed by heating them with a hairdryer until the adhesive softens, then peeling them off. Here are some methods for removing car stickers: 1. Methods for Handling Residual Adhesive: (1) Using an eraser can easily remove residual adhesive without damaging the car's paint. (2) Use a specialized tar remover to eliminate residual adhesive (since tar removers are somewhat corrosive, it's advisable to wear gloves during the process). (3) Wipe the residual adhesive with alcohol until it is completely removed. 2. Other Methods: For stickers with strong adhesion that are difficult to remove, you can buy a bottle of essential balm from a pharmacy. Then, take a towel or tissue, apply the essential balm to it, and gently rub the sticker until it comes off easily.
I've dealt with stickers on car bodies before. The first step is to use a hairdryer to heat the sticker, holding it about ten centimeters away and moving it back and forth for two to three minutes to soften the adhesive. Then, find the edge of the sticker and slowly lift a small corner with your fingernail before gently peeling it downward. If there’s any leftover adhesive residue, I apply a bit of essential balm on a tissue, let it sit for a minute, and then wipe it off in circular motions. After cleaning, remember to wash off any oily residue with car shampoo to prevent damage to the paint. I strongly advise against using a razor blade—my friend once scratched the paint and had to spend hundreds on a touch-up. The larger the sticker, the more patience you need to work on it section by section. Trying to peel off a big piece at once can cause it to tear.
