How to Remove Paint from Car Glass?

First, wipe it with a cloth dipped in alcohol. The paint used on guardrails is usually alkyd paint, which can typically be removed with alcohol. Industrial alcohol is recommended. Carburetor cleaner can also be used to remove paint from glass, but avoid spraying it directly on the glass. Instead, spray the cleaner onto a towel. It is recommended to go to a professional car detailing shop for polishing and waxing treatment.
I remember last time I dealt with paint residue on my car window, I used the most traditional razor blade method. First, find a new razor blade, wear thick gloves to prevent cuts, and dip it in soapy water to lubricate the glass surface. Hold the blade at a 30-degree angle to the glass and scrape slowly without applying too much force to avoid scratches. For stubborn spots, spray a bit of banana oil to soften the paint, but be careful not to let it drip onto the car paint as it can cause corrosion. After scraping everything clean, thoroughly wipe the glass with a glass cleaner, and finally apply a water-repellent agent to restore the rain-resistant effect. Avoid strong sunlight during the process to prevent the cleaner from drying too quickly. The whole process takes about half an hour, but extra caution is needed for older car windows.
