Wash it clean with water, then use a wax remover solvent for cleaning. After that, neutralize with a sodium bicarbonate solution, rinse thoroughly, and finally apply car wax for polishing after drying. You can also use a clay bar for cleaning. Soak the clay bar in water and then rub it back and forth on the bug stains for excellent stain removal.
The other day after a highway drive, I encountered the same issue - the car doors were covered in dried insect stains. I first parked the car in the shade and thoroughly sprayed the bug marks with a garden spray bottle to soften them for 20 minutes. Then, using the soft white side of a dish sponge dipped in diluted baby shampoo solution, I gently scrubbed in circular motions. For stubborn stains, I applied wet wipes for five minutes before wiping. The key is to avoid hard scraping - my neighbor scratched his car paint this way. After removing the bug stains, be sure to wax the surface. Applying carnauba wax creates a protective layer that prevents insect fluid corrosion.
