Support with a jack. Remove the wheel and tire assembly. Remove the brake caliper assembly. Remove the cotter pin from the drive axle. Use a rod to prevent the wheel from rotating and loosen the hub nut. Using the removal tool HT2520000, detach the tie rod end ball joint from the steering knuckle. Remove the nuts securing the control arm to the steering knuckle and ball joint. Drain the drive axle lubricant. Pull the hub/steering knuckle assembly away from the vehicle to separate the drive shaft from the drive axle. Properly support the engine and remove any brackets if present. Use a wheel puller to press the drive shaft out of the hub/steering knuckle assembly.

How to Align the Car Properly at the Entrance of a Curve?

Ensure you sit upright and check the rearview mirrors, making sure their angles are correct. Here are the detailed steps: 1. Adjustment Notes: For the left rearview mirror, use the horizon as a reference. Adjust the vertical angle so that the sky and ground each occupy half of the mirror. Adjust the horizontal angle so that the car body occupies 1/4 of the mirror. 2. Other Considerations: Since the right rearview mirror is farther away, it should show more of the road and less of the sky, allocating more mirror space to the car body and road. The adjustment principle is that the sky should occupy only 1/4 of the right rearview mirror, and the car body should also occupy 1/4.

How to Activate the Maintenance Mode for Volkswagen Wipers?

To activate the maintenance mode for Volkswagen wipers, quickly turn off the ignition or remove the key, then pull the wiper lever to the lowest position within 10 seconds. The wipers will then enter the maintenance state. The wiper maintenance mode is primarily designed to facilitate the replacement or inspection of wipers and the cleaning of debris on the windshield. Precautions for wiper usage: 1. Maintain cleanliness: When streaks appear on the windshield, the wiper blades may be dirty. You can sprinkle alcohol on a towel and wipe the surface of the wiper blades. It is recommended to regularly inspect and clean the wiper blades to keep them in a clean condition. 2. Check the rubber: If the windshield makes a screeching noise when the wipers are operating, inspect the rubber blades for cracks, wear, or uneven areas. If the wear is not severe, you can use sandpaper to smooth out rough spots on the surface. 3. Avoid direct sunlight: When the vehicle is not in use for an extended period, try to park it in a shaded area. Especially during hot summer weather, many people park their cars outdoors under direct sunlight, which accelerates the aging of the wiper blades. 4. Refill fluid: Many car owners prefer to add plain water directly to the windshield washer reservoir, which is not conducive to the maintenance of the windshield and wiper blades in the long run. To prolong the lifespan of the components, always use proper windshield washer fluid. Refill the washer fluid in time for unexpected needs. 5. Remove frost: In cold northern regions with heavy snowfall, the vehicle's wipers can easily freeze. Always manually clear the surrounding snow before use. Turning on the wipers directly can cause them to bend or deform, damage the wiper blades, scratch the windshield, and potentially harm the wiper motor.

How to Drive Safely After Entering the Highway Lane?

After entering the highway lane, the driving methods are as follows: Lane Discipline: When driving on a highway, vehicles must strictly adhere to the designated lanes. On a two-lane highway in the same direction, vehicles traveling below 100 km/h should stay in the right lane. On a three-lane highway, the minimum speed for the rightmost lane is 60 km/h. Vehicles traveling above 90 km/h should use the middle lane, while those exceeding 110 km/h should drive in the leftmost lane. Speed Control: Driving at excessively high speeds on the highway is not advisable, as it significantly increases the risk of accidents. However, driving too slowly is also unsafe, as it creates a large speed differential with other vehicles, leading to frequent overtaking situations. Therefore, drivers must strictly comply with the maximum and minimum speed limits specified in traffic regulations.
