How to Remove a Car Wheel Hub Cover?
1 Answers
Use a wrench to loosen the nuts counterclockwise. Do not remove the nuts. If there is a cover on the nuts, remove the cover first. Engage the handbrake. If there are items in the car, place them on the opposite side of the wheel being removed. Position the jack in a safe location. Lift the side of the car where the wheel is to be removed, ensuring the wheel has sufficient clearance from the ground. Unscrew the nuts. After removing the last two nuts, you will feel the wheel wobble.
