How to Refuel a Car?

To refuel a car, the first step is to locate a gas station, which can be found using a map. Before refueling the car, remember to turn off the engine. After finding a gas station, select the appropriate fuel type and proceed to refuel the car.
I always go to familiar gas stations first, accustomed to their layout. Before driving in, I choose a pump position, ensuring the car is aligned with the fuel nozzle before turning off the engine and getting out. The fuel tank cap is usually on the right rear side of the car. Modern cars might have an interior button to open it, while older models require manually unscrewing the cap. I often pay by card—insert the card, enter the PIN, then select the fuel type, such as 92 or 95 octane gasoline, following the car manual's recommendation to avoid mistakes. Insert the nozzle into the fuel filler, gently squeeze the trigger to fill up until it stops automatically—just listen for the sound. When done, return the nozzle, close the cap, take the card, and keep the receipt for reference. While refueling, I also check around the cap for any signs of leaks, a habit that makes vehicle maintenance easier. The whole process takes about five minutes. Remember not to smoke or use your phone to avoid hazards.
