How to Read the Tire Date?
1 Answers
On the sidewall of the tire, within a small square, the production date of the tire is marked, consisting of four digits. The last two digits represent the year, and the first two digits represent the week number. For example: 1. 1606 means it was produced in the 16th week of 2006, which is around late April 2006. 2. 0511 means it was produced in the 5th week of 2011, which is around early February 2011. In case of a flat tire or air leakage during vehicle use, the spare tire needs to be replaced. Currently, there are two types of spare tires: one is a non-full-size spare tire, and the other is a full-size spare tire. Non-full-size spare tires are smaller in both size specifications and quality compared to normal tires, and this difference serves as a reminder to replace the tire promptly.
