The method for checking a car engine oil dipstick is as follows: After the vehicle has been turned off for one minute and is parked on a level surface, pull out the oil dipstick. The oil dipstick is usually located next to the engine, either on top or on the side, with a pull ring for checking the oil level. First, clean the dipstick with a clean tissue before reinserting it. Then, turn the measuring part of the dipstick downward to check the oil level. If the oil level is between the upper and lower marks, the oil quantity is normal. In a car, the dipstick is a commonly used tool for checking the amount of lubricating oil in the oil reservoir. Since the dipstick insertion hole has a curved path, the dipstick must be able to deform when inserted and rebound when pulled out.
