Press the SET button next to the gear shift lever. First, check the tire pressure of all four tires to ensure they are at the normal level. Then start the car. Whether the tire pressure monitoring function is successfully activated. The tire pressure monitoring indicator light on the dashboard will illuminate, indicating that the tire pressure monitoring function has been successfully activated. If there is tire pressure monitoring, it will be displayed on the dashboard.
I previously dealt with a tire pressure warning issue when driving my GLK, and reactivating it isn't actually difficult. First, you need to park and turn off the engine, then turn the ignition to the point where the dashboard lights up but don't start the engine. Next, use the control stalk or buttons on the left side of the steering wheel to navigate to the vehicle settings option in the dashboard menu, scroll to the tire pressure section, and select reset. The important thing is to make sure all tire pressures are adjusted to the standard values before operating, otherwise the system might not recognize it. After learning this, I've made it a habit to reset it every season when changing tires or before long trips to ensure accurate monitoring and a more secure drive. Improper tire pressure can increase fuel consumption and even the risk of a blowout—taking a few minutes to handle it is much better than ignoring the warning light.
