How to reactivate ETC after removal?

Insert and remove the ETC card twice in succession until the electronic tag screen displays 'Bluetooth On'. Alternatively, you can directly press the button on top of the electronic tag to enable Bluetooth. Turn on Bluetooth on your phone and enter the device activation interface. Then click 'Device Connection'. After successful connection, follow the prompts to complete verification and upload a photo of the vehicle's front to finish activation.
Last time I accidentally knocked off my ETC device and had to reactivate it myself. First, check if the small switch on the back of the device has popped out—this anti-tamper mechanism is often the culprit. Clean the windshield thoroughly with an alcohol wipe to remove any oil film or dust, then firmly press the ETC device back into place to ensure it sticks securely. Turn on your phone’s Bluetooth, then insert and remove the ETC card three times in a row to activate the device’s Bluetooth (some models require holding down the device button). Next, open the bank app or WeChat mini-program used to apply for the ETC and find the reactivation option, following the prompts to complete the process. Remember to do this inside the car with the windows closed to avoid signal interference. If it still doesn’t work after 30 minutes, you may need to visit a service center. Also, avoid exposing the device to direct sunlight, as high temperatures can weaken the adhesive over time.
